Compared to the case of the Montecristo Classic, the design is renewed: the dimensions are smaller (from 44 to 41 mm in diameter), the lines are softer, the functionality is enhanced. The typical triple-bar lugs, which in the past editions were anchored, in Montecristo Moon form a single block with the case, greatly increasing the watch stability. Water resistance is guaranteed to 100 meters.
However, materials are the main innovative focus showcased in the Montecristo Carbon. For this exclusive special series, the engineers of the Italian School of Watchmaking (SIO) have opted for the exclusive LOCMAN full carbon material resulting from years of research.
It is worth recalling that LOCMAN, with the New Carbon model launched in 2003, was the world’s first watch company to produce a carbon fibre case.
