This decoration of an extreme delicacy and full of charm, in the image of the aviary of the Marquise de Pompadour is a tribute to this woman who allowed the creation of the manufacture of Sèvres to compete with the porcelain of Japan, China or Saxony. Its pattern with subtle colors recalls the original colors developed at the time by the manufacture.

This decor was created in the 1970s, at the request of an Arab prince to furnish his palace, which he was building in the desert. In the center of the palace was a rose garden that could be seen from the dining room. The service was designed to reflect and complement the lush garden views.
